"Did you tell him those were the Lord's chips?"

(The new sister missionary clothing guidelines. Do you see the pressure I'm under!?)

Preparing to go on a mission has many different aspects.

There's the shots to get.
The culture to study up on.
Books to read.
Getting in shape.
Studying.
Giving farewell talks (in my case three! yikes).

And then there's buying clothes.
(I would be lying if I said this wasn't my favorite part of it all...)

H&M?
Gap?

J.C. Penny's?

oh, don't mind if I do.

I didn't realize when I began buying sister missionary clothes that I'd need skirts I can sit down on the floor in. Cross legged.

But I've been able to find some great stuff!

Thrifting has been good to me (or should I say my mother who found a gray wool suit priced at four bucks!)

Although, it is possible I might have purchased a few too many clothes.
But, after the debit card has been swiped, and the reciept handed over with a number a little larger then intended, I just tell myself it's all in the name of missionary work. In fact, I would say that I'm consecrating my wardrobe to the Lord!

Right? ...Right?
