This brings me great joy \(^o^)/

Did you know that Asians have their own emoticons? Sweet huh?

And now, a word from our sponsors:
The people are generally friendly and helpful. They are curious about foreigners, and once they find out you speak Korean will bombard you with questions (How long have you been here? How do you like the food? Do you miss your family?). Every greenie gets plenty of practise at answering these. Children will stare at you as you walk by, point at you and say "miguk saram!" ("American person," which must be really annoying for all the Canadians over there), and feel your hair on the bus when they think you aren't looking. They will frequently feel compelled to try out their English phrases on you, so as you walk down the street you may be greeted with a cheerful "Hello!" or "I love you," a rhetorical "What time is it?" or the occasional "I am a boy" (to which we like to respond, "Congratulations.").
